I’m Alex, your tutor at Drum Hub, I have over 10 years of experience teaching drums in schools, music academies and privately across the UK and am qualified with a BA (Hons) Degree in Music, grade 8 drum kit certificate, public liability insurance and enhanced DBS background check.

Located in Manor House, Drum Hub is easily accessible to aspiring drummers based in Haringey, Hackney, Islington, Camden, Enfield and other nearby areas of North and East London. 1:1 drum lessons are taught in the Drum Hub studio- N4 1LZ, with use of professional equipment and a full studio back-line.

Drum Hub aims to provide students with the essential skills and technique needed to play confidently on the drum kit, whilst also underlining the importance of musicality, creativity, reading drum notation and charts and finding their own voice with their playing. With modern music at the heart of my tuition ethos, lessons are tailored towards each individual student’s musical preference and playing style, giving students access to learning about both live and electronic music, from drum kit to sampling pads; we can cover every aspect of modern day drumming.
